I'm going to call this palette “accidental Christmas” or maybe “Christmas-ish”? I wish the entire world was filled with as much color as a Mediterranean town. I'll tell you, here in the PNW we could use some more brightly colored houses like this! The bold colors mixed with bright hanging laundry really just warms my soul - it's like spreading holiday cheer year-round!
MOOD COLLAGE
For me, red is a little bit of a tough color. It is associated with lots of different meanings; stop, alert, love, passion, danger, joy, anger, strength, and courage - and that's only to name a few!! It's definitely a color that used incorrectly can feel overpowering, so I'm hoping with the examples below you can get some “Chistmas-ish” inspiration + a sneak peek at my next pattern! In my opinion, these color schemes could be passed as a holiday quilt, or not! The best of both worlds!
