The Diamond Flare Quilt is an original quilt pattern design by Taylor Krz of Toad & Sew. It is part of the Double Trouble Bundle and can be purchased separately or paired with the Time Capsule Quilt.
This pattern is rated Intermediate (3/5) and assumes the quilter has basic quilting knowledge and can maintain a consistent ¼" seam allowance.
Originally designed as the 2023 Block of the Month (BOM) for the Seattle Modern Quilt Guild, Diamond Flare is inspired by the Pacific Northwest’s stunning landscapes, vibrant flora, and rich culture. This medallion-style quilt blends block-based construction with a central motif, creating a visually dynamic and satisfying design. SMQG members embraced the challenge of learning new techniques while building the quilt month by month.
