If there’s one thing quilters love almost as much as fabric, it’s their quilty friendships and community. And my quilty friends especially like it when I give them something that says, “Yes, I know exactly who you are and what you like!” So this year, I put together a Toad & Sew gift guide built around the quilty friend type and the gifts I think they will loooove.
You could be shopping for your quilty bestie, your guild partner, or honestly…yourself (no judgment here). These picks are a wonderful way to celebrate one another.
For the Quilter Who Always Has a Water Bottle Nearby
Hydration queen. Hydroflask warrior. Human emotional-support-water-bottle. Don’t these friends love a good sticker moment?

We now have some of the cutest ones:
- Bobbin-Chicken Sticker
- Cottagecore Sticker
- Matchbook Sticker
- Certified Heirloom Sticker
- Quilters Against Fascism Sticker
Stick them on bottles, laptops, sewing machines…or all three. Your friend will love that you were thinking of them!
For the Coffee (or Tea) Lover Who Starts Every Quilt Session With a Sip
Some people warm up their sewing machine. Some warm up their mug hand. And can’t you imagine these friends loving fresh, new greeting cards?

- T&S Greeting Cards
For the Farmers Market Girlie Who Brings Her Tote Bag Everywhere
You know the one: linen pants, tote bag, tomatoes, and maybe a hand-quilting project peeping out of the top of that tote bag…? They carry the cutest tote bags AND wear the cutest tops!

For the Quilter Who Loves Skipping Straight to the Fun Part

Some folks want to dive right into cutting - not spend an evening taping printer pages together like a paper-chain craft gone wrong. I totally get it!
Now, we have printed-on-demand pattern templates.
These high-quality matte paper templates (A1 size!) are made exclusively for Toad & Sew patterns and printed fresh for every order. No trimming. No taping. No fighting with your home printer that hasn’t behaved since 2017 (or 2007, lol).
Current options include:
- Grove Quilt Templates
- Joplin Pattern Templates
- Cascade Bloom Pattern Templates
-
Moonbeam Pattern Templates
Maybe you could save your friend a future argument with their printer!
For the Friend Whose Wall Art Is 90% Quilts Already

I love a good wall quilt—but they could add some variation with these fun prints.
- Cascade Bloom Art Print Original
- Cascade Bloom Art Print Groovy
- Sky Cabin Art Print
- Sky Cabin Art Print Groovy
- Cottagecore Art Print
- Booths Corner Art Print
- New Year’s Kiss Art Print
- Courthouse Steps Art Print
- Folkwell Rainbow Print
- Relativity Art Print
- Joplin Art Print
These add color, texture, and quilty joy to any space…without the hassle of a quilt sleeve!
For the Friend Whose Love Language Is Comfort Colors
And I wanted to save this one for the end because don’t all of us have a friend who is obsessed with Comfort Colors by now? Some people want diamonds; some want a perfectly broken-in tee.

Bonus points if they love quilty tattoos, right?
Honorable Mentions: Businesses We Love Working With
If you need even more ideas, consider checking out some Toad & Sew friends!
Modern American Vintage
We love Modern American Vintage because they make practical AND super cute sewing notions. They are all handmade from different types of wood with some super unique designs and finishes.

Sarah Hearts
If you're looking for some cute labels for your quilts, Sarah Hearts is the way to go. They have lots of designs, but my favorite is the Write-In Quilt Labels. It's basically like signing your artwork in the bottom corner!

Christina West of Kindred Quilt Co.
One of my quilt besties wrote a book this year with Kacey Crutchfield and it is SO GOOD. It's a great book for beginners and experienced quilters, featuring lots of resources and techniques inside.

And because we’re talking about quilty friends, I can’t help but mention some of my favorite quilty shop friends, too. They also own their own businesses, and they would love to help you find fun gifts for your quilty pals this holiday season!
Full Moon Fabric Co. (Tara)

Full Moon Fabric Co. is run by Tara, a middle-school teacher by day and bold-color quilter by night. She curates fabrics she personally loves, ships quickly, and keeps her shop infused with the same creative spark that inspired its name. What makes Full Moon special is its mission—Tara donates a portion of every sale to support public educators through DonorsChoose, helping classrooms access the resources they need. It’s the perfect spot to shop for the fabric lover who values vibrant colors, excellent service, and giving back to teachers.
Wyldwood Creative Co. (Tawnee)

Wyldwood Creative is a welcoming, values-driven shop where creativity and community come first. Tawnee has built a space centered on inclusivity, accessibility, sustainability, and equity—offering natural-fiber fabrics, quality tools, thoughtfully chosen kits, and sliding-scale classes that make crafting truly accessible. With its Craft Exchange Corner, partnerships with local artists, and an ongoing commitment to social impact, Wyldwood is the perfect place to shop for makers who appreciate modern design, ethical sourcing, and a space that genuinely feels like home.
Lamb and Loom (Linli)

Lamb and Loom is a family-run fabric shop based in Houston, led by Linli Boyd. They’re devoted to curating modern, high-quality fabrics—from AGF Pure Solids to Ruby Star, Suzy Quilts, Rifle Paper Co., and more—alongside indie garment pattern makers. Their shop blends craftsmanship with heart, always focused on supporting makers through every step of their creative journey. Whether you're quilting or sewing garments, Lamb & Loom offers a thoughtful selection and the kind of family-run warmth that makes every purchase feel personal.
Wrapping (Your Presents!) Up
No matter who you’re shopping for, there’s something here that fits their quilty personality. And if you realized halfway through that you are the water-bottle girlie, the coffee lover, the template collector, and the tote-bag devotee…same. I give you full permission to splurge on yourself, too!
Happy gifting, happy sewing, and don’t forget to tag me (@toadandsew) if any of these goodies make it under your tree this year.
